She was predeceased by: her sister Lisa Nelson Carla. She is survived by: her parents, Gail W. Fortin of Goshen, CT and Robert F. Santamaria (Judith Rossi Santamaria) of Harwinton, CT.; her daughter Ella McSally of Newton, MA; her aunt Jack Wood of Ephratah, NY; her uncle Lyn Wood of Ephratah, NY; her sibling's child Christina Nelson of New Hartford, CT; Ryan Nelson of New Hartford, CT.
She has asked that donations in her memory be made to the Chronic Pain Research Alliance or the Brain Behavior Research Foundation.
