Clare Chagnon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clare Chagnon (Newton, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 20, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Reilly (Clark) and Edward B. Reilly; her husband John J Chagnon; her son Paul Chagnon; and her sister Elizabeth Stefanko.
She is survived by: her children, John J. Chagnon Jr. (Diane), Jean Terrasi (Antonio), Robert Chagnon (Diana), Carol Paupst (Stephen), Mary Ellen Castro (Michael) and Gail Moylan (John); her daughter-in-law Anne Chagnon; and her siblings, Edward B. Reilly, Jr., Phyllis King, John Reilly and Ann Pendergast. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
