He was predeceased by: his spouse Andree "Maria" Rufo (Gilles); and his sibling Antonietta DeRubeis. He is survived by: his children, Emilia Rufo-Haigh, Cesidia Berreondo, Renato Rufo and Rita Rufo-Arciere; his grandchildren, Christine, Jessica, Samantha, Melanie, Arianna and Baby Logan; his siblings, Lucia Coletti, Aurora Anselmi, Aldo Rufo and Donata Raparelli; and his significant other Donato "Danny" Visco.
