He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCabe and Margaret McCabe (Marcellino). He is survived by: his wife Lisa McCabe (Waldvogel); his children, Edward (Lisa) of Waltham and Kendra McCabe of Waltham; and his siblings, John, Debbie Garcia of Waltham, Dan and Tina Farrell of No. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
