With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elinor Alpert Seevak (Newton, Massachusetts), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Meyer Alpert and Ruth Alpert (Siegel); her siblings, Lawrence Alpert and Amy Singer (Alpert); her children, Alison, Marina and Evan (Sarah Pearson); and her grandchildren, Gabriel, Emma, Abigail, Nathaniel and Anna.

Donations in Ellie's honor can be made to the Elinor A. Seevak Endowed Scholarship at Simmons University.
