He was predeceased by: his spouse Arnold Adelman; his child Leonard Adelman (Stacey); and his sibling Arthur Robbins. He is survived by: his children, Howard Adelman (Karin) and Edward Adelman (Michele); his grandchildren, Ayelet Yonah, Eliahu (Naomi), Natan, Laura and Samuel (Emma); and his siblings, Beatrice Goldblatt and Sylvia Schweitzer.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Leonard Adelman Memorial Scholarship, College of Criminal Justice, 204 Churchill Hall, Northeastern University, 360 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
