She was predeceased by: her sister Mary Tanzman. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Steven Appelblatt (Anni), Carol Tovar (German) and Linda Barnes (Richard); her grandchildren, Monica McDonnell (Jack), Luis Tovar (Maria Fernanda), Allison Serre (Thomas) and Samuel Barnes; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Lia, Anna, Matti, Joaquin and Samantha; and her brothers, Irving Grodman and Harold Grodman. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
