He is survived by: his spouse Susan B. (McKeen); his children, Charles Robertson (Molly) of New York, Thomas Robertson of Newton, Emily Robertson and Shamus McGillicuddy of Watertown; his grandchildren, Zachary Dunnewind and John Robertson; and his siblings, Virginia Alyea of Indiana, Carol Rumerfield of Oregon and Tom Robertson of Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Newtons in his memory.
