She was predeceased by: her husband Leon; her son James; and her sister Lois Mezer. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Bergner (Doug) of McLean, VA; her granddaughters, Laura, Madeline, Carolyn and Jennifer; and her brother Herschel Sternlieb. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be sent to the James Blum Fund for Foreign Study at Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, or to the .
