She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Townsend; her son Bill; her siblings, Joan Johnson, Jim and Jack Rust; her grandchildren, Quint, Helen and Kai; her parent Army Lieutenant Colonel; and her son Steve.
A funeral and burial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church for both Mary and John once a Covid vaccine is widely available so that distant relatives can travel safely to say their good-byes.
