He is survived by: his mother Olive LaBranche (Dicey) of Newton; his close friend Linda F. Tomczyk; his siblings, Nancy LaBranche of Newton and Larry A. LaBranche of Newton; his nephew Keith LaBranche (Nancy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, AJ and David.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Peter's memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Walk for Hunger.
