He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara York (Gavigan); and his sibling Charles A. York. He is survived by: his children, Paul Edward York (Susan Marie) of Worcester, Lynn Elizabeth Norton of Natick and Cheryl Ann (Douglas Bradley Williams) of Middleborough; his siblings, Claire L. Tolan of Framingham, Ruth I, Edward G. York, Margaret M. Sughrue, Catherine I, Mary J. Bourgeois and Helen S. Frechette; and his grandchildren, John, Megan, Katelyn York, David Williams, Alison Williams, Paige York and Miles York.
Interment in Newton Cemetery. in lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Philip's memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
