She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Cohen and Harry Cohen of Brockton; her husband Albert; and her brother Jerome. She is survived by: her children, David (Melissa Solomon), Martin (Betsy Solomon), Robert Solomon, Richard (Susan Solomon), Sharon (Paul Kaliner) and Sue-Ann Solomon; and her friend Marie Croisetu. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Phyllis requested that donations be made to support the nurses at Brigham and Women's Hospital by way of the "BWH Patient Services Fund.".
