He was predeceased by: his son Bobby-Joe. He is survived by: his wife Ann Wilcox (Roach); and his children, Kerry Botticelli (Michael), Diane Wilcox, Keith Wilcox (Amy), Cecelia Magargee (Scott), Brendan Wilcox (Jen) and Sheila Lane (Jeff). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Wilcox's name to Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
