He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila Ann (Connors); his daughters, Julia A. Fitzgerald (Martin) of Northborough and Mary Ann Lawson (Rick) of Methuen; and his grandsons, Martin, Jr. and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, donation in his memory may be made to the Activities Department at the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley where he served as Resident Council President.
