He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Fitzgibbon and Julia Fitzgibbon; his significant other Dorothy Hughes; his sisters, Catherine McIver, Sheila Fuller and Eileen Allen; his children, Anne Fitzgibbon, Matthew (Cynthia Fitzgibbon), Sheila (Kevin Deely), Amy (Ray Porfiri) and Sean (Jeanne Fitzgibbon); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Phoebe, Aidan Fitzgibbon, Max, Jacob Shusterman, Conor, Tyler Deely, Austin, Isaac Porfiri, Madeline and Isabelle Fitzgibbon.
