He is survived by: his parents, Esther Abend (Lyons) and Louis Abend; his wife Susan; his sister Ellen Miller (Abend) of Southboro, MA; and his children, Marc (Lynda), Larry (Angie), Jacqui Weiner (Abend), Julie Cahalin (Abend) and Judy Levine (Abend). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
