We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Velta Doherty (Newton, Massachusetts). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Edward G. "Buster" Doherty; her children, Peter of Newtonville and Barbara Edlund; and her close friend Maria Ninobla. She was also cherished by her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Velta to the Newton Senior Center 345 Walnut St Newton MA 02460, would be appreciated.
