She was predeceased by : her sibling Elene; and her parents, Fred B. West and Irene B. West (Connolly). She is survived by : her children, Alfred E. Butters Jr. (Barbara) of Norfolk, James M. Butters (Maria) of Walpole, Barbara A. Slade (Richard) of Attleboro, Rosemarie Cook (Jon), Mary E. Holmes (John) of Norwood, Maureen E. Lennon (Tom) of Franklin and Harry F. Butters (Deborah) of Walpole; and her brothers, Milton, Paul and Fred. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
