He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Vining. He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Vining (Rowe); his sons, Steven (Donna Vining) of Saugus and Brian (Cheryl Vining) of Salem, NH; his grandchildren, Cory, Andrew and Rebecca Vining; and his siblings, Robert Vining of Maine, Doris Clark of Wakefield and Catherine Minor of Holliston, MA.
