He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leary and Elizabeth Leary Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Leary (Smolak); his children, Dan Leary (Carrie) of North Andover, Jack Leary of West Boxford and Katy Demars (Nate) of North Andover; his grandchildren, Annabel, Pierce, William Leary, Abby and Leah Demars; and his sisters, Patricia Lane Houghton (Richard) of Boxford and Betsy Boulanger (Joseph) of Boxford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Leary family would like to advocate on behalf of Be The Match, an organization that manages the largest and most diverse bone marrow registry in the world.
