Cheryl L. Normandin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl L. Normandin of North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Cheryl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cheryl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel E. Lay, Jr. and Dorothy L. Lay (Oliveira). She is survived by: her daughters, Kristy L. Normandin (Thomas Foyle) of Madison, CT and Tiffany L. Normandin of Providence, RI; her significant other Abe Abdallah; and her siblings, Debra Lay-Renkens (Kenneth L. Renkens, MD) of Indianapolis, IN and Randall R. Lay (Betsy) of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
