It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F. Flaherty Jr. of North Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Francis and Rita Flaherty (Flanagan); his wife Patricia Flaherty (O'Connor); and his sister Patricia K. Burrows-Flood. He is survived by: his children, Maureen E. Slattery (late Joseph) of Norwood, Daniel O. Flaherty (Kirsten) of Quincy, Susan P. Murray (Michael) of Milton and Kevin E. Flaherty of Quincy; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Flaherty of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Liam, Caitlin, Brendan, Olivia, Grace, Danny, Lauren, Patrick, Luke and Alexandra; and his brother Richard "Dick" Flaherty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
