He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burt Thornton and Eleonor Thornton (Chesley); his wife Diane Thornton (Hashem) of North Reading, MA; his stepson Karl Russo Jr. of North Reading; and his brother William Thornton (Billy). He was also cherished by brother and two nephews.
