With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neal E. Rooney III of North Reading, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 18, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Neal E., II and June Rooney (Dunn); his wife Catherine M. Rooney (Powers); his son Neal E. Rooney, IV; and his siblings, Thomas Rooney, Linda Belcher (Rooney) and Heidi Mattos.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the North Reading Veteran's Gift Account, 235 North Street (Town Hall), North Reading, MA 01864.
