Ann Marie Tangney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 87, Ann Marie Tangney of North Weymouth, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Shea and Anna Shea (Kerr); her husband James A. Tangney; and her siblings, Patricia Ridlen (late Robert) and Gerald Shea (Ann) of Quincy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristina Tavares (Michael) of Weymouth, Nancy Tangney of Quincy and Kathleen Scheer (Michael) of Braintree; her grandchildren, Scott Tavares of Weymouth, Amanda and Michaela Scheer of Braintree; her siblings-in-law, Paul Tangney (Rita) of Marshfield and Patricia Tangney of Quincy; and her friend Ann Hunt. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - North (40 Sea St, Weymouth, MA 02191). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome Church (632 Bridge St, Weymouth, MA 02191).
