He is survived by: his son Bryan of Springfield; his granddaughter Ella; his brother Jay; his son Michael of Agawam; his sibling Linda David; his brothers-in-law, Greg David of East Springfield and Mark Braica of Springfield; his parent James Shannahan of Springfield; and also, Liz of Springfield, Tammy Kowalczyk of Agawam, John Shannahan of Bennington and Karen Braica.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Northampton, Ma.
