He was predeceased by : his wife Deborah M. Tornyai (Bernat); and his parents, Julius Tornyai and Hedvig Tornyai (Kovacs). He is survived by : his daughters, Katherine A. Tornyai of Vernon, CT and Laura E. Tornyai of Norton; his nephew Alan Bernat of Alabama; and his pets, Toby, Chowdah and Harvey.
