George Alan Tremaine Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Alan Tremaine Jr. of Norwell, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tremaine and Daisy Tremaine of Hanover, MA.; and his siblings, Kenneth Tremaine of Pawtucket, RI, Ruth Tremaine-Giambarba of Centerville, MA and David Tremaine of Hanover, MA..
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Tremaine (Robinson); his daughters, Marcia Tremaine Carieri (James) of California and Nancy Tremaine Bent (Jim) of Rockland, MA.; and his grandsons, Kevin Tremaine Moriarty and Jimmy Bent, Jr.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Chrysostom's Episcopal Church (1 Linden St, Quincy, MA 02170).
