He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara J. Flaherty (McMahon). He is survived by: his daughter Kate Gonzalez of Brockton; his father Thomas J. Flaherty of Norwood; and his siblings, Donna M. Rideout of Lakeville, Michael Flaherty (Linda) of Foxboro and Christopher S. Flaherty of Hull. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
