He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ruth Mullen and Lewis Mullen; his girlfriend Pauline Dacko; his children, Katie Donovan (Gregory), Jamie Mullen and Chris Mullen (Michelle); his grandchildren, Madison, Sadie, Samantha, Addison and Layla; and his siblings, Robert, Susan, Pete, Paul and Chris. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hockey Fights Cancer.
