She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore Purpura; and her parents, Winfelt and Helen (McCauliffe). She is survived by: her children, Donna Charron (late Steven) of Mansfield, Patricia Welch (Kevin) of Wareham, James Purpura of Franklin and Paul Purpura of Astoria, OR.; her grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Eric, Brenda, Marcy, Nichole, Nathan, Nya and Tiffany; her siblings, Carl Eckhardt, Paul Eckhardt, John Eckhardt and Helen "Ellie" Gallant; her siblings-in-law, Henry Gallant, Carolyn Eckhardt, Carol Eckhardt and Augustino Purpura; and her close friend Frank Dipietro. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
