She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. Harkins; her siblings, John Toland, Fran Toland and James Deeko Toland; and her parents, John Toland and Susan Toland (Harrison).
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin G. Harkins (Deborah) of Medway, Robert P. Harkins (Maureen) of Norwood and Daniel J. Harkins (Carolyn) of Wrentham; her siblings, Barbara Toland, Wellesley, Suzie Murphy of Whitman and Bernie Toland of Quincy; and her grandchildren, Brian, Laura, Patrick, Alison, Lauren, Liana and Samantha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
