He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor T. Galano (Albanese); his brother Fernando Galano; and his parents, Nunzio Galano and Maria Galano (Choli). He is survived by: his children, Kenneth P. Galano (Diane) of Wrentham, Karen Ganley, Jeremiah Collins, Attleboro and Kristine Smith of Foxboro; and his sister Concetta Valerio of Walpole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-9959.
