She was predeceased by: her spouse William H. Smith; and her parent Eugene Riendeau. She is survived by: her parent Gertrude Riendeau (Authier); her children, Steven W. Smith (Linda) of Tewksbury, Debra J. Tarini (John) of Charlestown, RI, Paula J. Bassett (Fred) of Salisbury and Carole L. Smith of Danvers; her grandchildren, Gregory Smith, Eric Smith, Craig Bassett, Lauren Bassett and Brian Bassett; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Lana, Noah, Sam and Fiona.
