He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean M. Saffer (Ouellette); his parent Bagdasar Saffer; his daughter Maureen C. Marcotti; and his siblings, Harry, Robert, Leon and Rose Swindell.
He is survived by: his significant other Joan A. Girard of Peabody; his parent Christine Saffer (Boisvert); his son Alan D. Saffer; his granddaughter Ashley E. Saffer; and his brother Donald Saffer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
