She is survived by: her parent Helen Bateman (Brown) of Salem, MA.; her children, Barbara Bird (Mark) of Merrimac and George Sousa Jr (Philip); her wife Kim of Thornton; her grandchildren, Jonathan Bird, Sara Bird of Merrimac, Emily Benedi (Tony) of Va and Geordie Sousa of Ipswich, MA.; her great grandchild John Nolan Benedi of Va; and also Ruth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
