She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Malnati; and her brother Michael Malnati. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara DeForge Malnati; her husband Anthony M. Bateman, Sr.; her mother Barbara Malnati of Richmond; her children, Elliott Ray of Pittsfield and Melanie Ray of Schenectady, N. Y.; her sister Peggy Malnati of Farmington Hills, Mich.; her stepchildren, Anthony M. Bateman, Jr. of Pittsfield, Desiree Addy (Benjamin, Sr.) and Nicole Zink (Mark) of Lenox; her grandchildren, Benjamin Addy, Jr., Anjali Addy, Azriel Addy and Daveena Addy; her close friends, Michelle Pettograsso and Jennifer Needham; her former husband Paul Ray; and her mothers-in-law, Helen Ray and Betty Jean Bateman.
