He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Grunow and Jessie M. Smith Grunow; his brother Robert W. Grunow; his sister-in-law Mary E. Grunow; and his son David B. Grunow.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley E. Fentner; his children, Elizabeth A. Miller (Darren) of Stockbridge, MA and Kurt W. Grunow of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Erica Almeida, Alyssa Grunow, Rebecca Grunow, Jared Miller and Janelle Miller; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Emily; and his brother Albert Grunow (Deanne).
