Louis A. Parreault Jr. Obituary
Mr. Louis A. Parreault, Jr., of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 17, 2025, just months before celebrating his 61st birthday. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on June 29, 1964, son of Sandra Norton Parreault and the late Louis A. Parreault, he graduated from Wahconah Regional High School with the class of 1983.
For the majority of his career, Louis was employed by Crane and Company. It was from there that he retired after many years of dedicated service. Prior to his time at Crane, Louis worked as a locksmith for the Lock Shop.
Throughout his life, Louis was an avid drummer for various bands, including, but not limited to, T-Bone Daddy, Cannonball Express and Scratch Belly.
Besides his mother, Sandra Parreault, Louis is survived by his life partner of 26 years, Marian Harris, and her sons, Daniel and Jacob VanDeusen (Mallory). He also leaves behind the lights of his life, his grandchildren, Connor, Hannah, Eva and Kolby VanDeusen, all of whom he adored.
Besides his father, Louis was predeceased by his sister Sharon Herlihy.
Funeral Notice: A graveside service for Louis will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10am at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family asks all who would like to attend to meet inside the cemetery gate by 9:45am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis' memory can be made to Friends of Renal Dialysis (FORD), in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
