With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Agnes (Zawistowski) Zaccari of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaus Zawistowski and Anna Zawistowski (Ptak); and her husband Joseph Salvadore Zaccari. She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Zaccari of Pittsfield and Joseph S. Zaccari, Jr. (Trisha Rice) of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Kathleen Farnum of Somerville, MA, Jessica Shandor of Hamburg, NJ, Tazman Briggs of Castle Rock, CO and Ramsey McGrath of Tucker, GA.; her great grandchild Alexis Shandor; and her siblings, Charles Zawistowski of Pittsfield and Jeannie Burke of Pittsfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
