He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Cancilla and Angeline Froio Cancilla; his brother Anthony G. Cancilla Jr.; and his son-in-law Michael D'Avella. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Cancilla of Pittsfield; his children, Vera D'Avella of Pittsfield, Kim Kuni (Jim) of Pittsfield, Lori Reuss (Mark) of Peru, Sandy Cancilla-Phillips of Albuquerque, NM, Scott Dias (Judy) of Lanesboro and Mark Cancilla (Michele) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, John Cancilla, Anthony Cancilla, Emily Phillips, Julia Phillips, Kevin Dias, Jodi Heelan, Erin D'Avella, Matthew D'Avella, Benjamin Kuni, Nickolaus Kuni, Travis Kuni, Kayla Reuss and Samantha Larochelle; his great grandchildren, Koh, Tyler Dias, Wyatt Kuni and Molly Heelan; and his pets, Willow, Diesel, Vegas, Blue, Harley, Emmie, Kobey, Lexie, Sadie, Ramen and Patches. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
