He was predeceased by: his parent John Valatkevicz. He is survived by: his parent Lena Valatkevicz (Gogis); his spouse Judith A. Valatkevicz (Martin); his children, Amy Bates and Susan Kiefer; his grandchildren, Olivia Kiefer and Jeremy Kiefer; and his siblings, William Valatkevicz of Marion and Richard Valatkevicz of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; he also leaves cousins.
