She was predeceased by: her husband David N. Swinney; and her children, Robert Fernandes and Maureen Alberti. She is survived by: her children, Hilario Fernandes, Camille Morris (Nelson) and Carletta Butler (Christopher); and her sister Kathleen Wood (Leon Wood) of Middleboro.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (313 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
