He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet Sweeney (Volker); his parents, William J. Sweeney and Ruth Sweeney Sr. (Hasenpflug); his children, William J. Sweeney (Julie) of Darien, CT, Laura Selkirk (Christopher) of Hingham and Elizabeth Struble (Laramie) of Duxbury; his siblings, Kevin Sweeney of Virginia and Jeanne Conroy of Florida; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Liam, Finn Sweeney, Jacob, Madisyn Selkirk, Lucas, Avery and Emerson Struble.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Bonaventure Church (801 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
