It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Cheney of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Jr.; and her parents, Gordon Sim and Mary Sim. She is survived by: her husband Thomas F. Cheney; her children, Joseph (Ann) of Kissimmee, Michael of Quincy, Mary (Dan O'Neill) of Stoughton, Maureen (Rob Giffin) of Surry, Kathleen of Quincy, Barbara (Scott Brodeur) of Northampton and Diane (Stephen Bird) of Hopkinton; and her siblings, Mary Jepsen (Robert Jepsen) of Dorchester, Paricia Troy (William Troy) of Tewksbury and Charles Sim (Gail Sim) of Pembroke. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
