He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge George Dewey and Catherine Dewey (Murdock); and his brother George Dewey. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Dewey (Kelly) of Quincy; his children, Daniel Dewey (Alla Baranovsky) of Westborough and Aileen Quilty (Conor) of Quincy; and his siblings, Frank Dewey (Suzi) of New Jersey, Cathy Treveloni (Ron) of New Jersey, Paul Dewey (Patsy) of New Jersey, John Dewey of Marlboro and Susan Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
