He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine McHugh (Coveney); his grandchild Christin Seidel; and his parents, Francis McHugh and Florence McHugh (Mitchell). He is survived by: his children, Donald McHugh of Quincy, Patricia Seidel (late John C. Seidel) of Scituate, Kathleen Dodwell (Peter) of Portsmouth, NH, Michael McHugh (Susan Callaghan) of Cohasset, Steven McHugh (Janet Stoff) of Kennebunkport, David McHugh (Elizabeth), James McHugh (Erika) and Thomas McHugh (Janet); and his siblings, Richard McHugh of South Yarmouth, Columbia, MD, Leo McHugh, Francis McHugh and Dorothy M. May. He is also survived by Uncle.
