It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Martel (Quincy, Massachusetts), born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew L Dirksmeier Sr. and Gertrude J. Donahoe; her husband James D Martel; and her siblings, Andrew Jr, Anne J, Virginia, Paul F., Joseph A. and Rose Marie Dirksmeier.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Grace Zizza, Lynne Pardi and Judith Rav; and her sister-in-law Louise Sironen Dirksmeier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
