It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Ortiz of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Ortiz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Santana and Mercedes Piniero Santana. She is survived by: her children, Carmen Ortiz (Tom Dolan) of Milton, Juanita Diaz (Hector) of Framingham, Juan Ortiz, Jr. (Tanya), Jose Ortiz and Elizabeth Ortiz Murray of Quincy; her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Alisandra, Miquela, Olivia, Marie, Michael, Matthew, Johnny and Marcus; her siblings, Aida Febres (Hilda), Gloria Rosado (Tati), Alejandro Davila (Junior), Victor Santana and Jose Santana, Jr.; and her husband Brooklyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, a private family Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 17th.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
